Timeline your Life with Lifehaps
I've been playing with this nicely done flex-based application this morning called Lifehaps, and so far I'm very impressed by its performance. Lifehaps allows you to organize all the important events in your life over a timeline. The application is very easy to use, with some nifty tools including drag & drop feature, that help making timelines real fast. However, because its simplicity it is really fun to create, so you might end up spending more time than you think on this one.
Timeline apps are very trendy this year, and I can definitely see the importance in these services. What I liked so much about Lifehaps is that it takes minimal time to build a timeline, and you can later share it with friends, or just keep it private to yourself and family. i prefer a simple spreadsheet and timeline chart... and a map gadget... and.... then i can also invite family members to add to it... and tie a form to it that i can hit from my iphone... and then publish the gadget/chart to my blog so people can see it change... If I really want to get crazy, i guess i could map future events and put a gantt chart on it... and.....
Interesting to me to compare general approaches to vertical apps.
