Excellent idea with the presentation, really. And I don't think there's anything wrong with including your own blog in the list - I think no one will dispute the fact that you definitely belong in the list of the most powerful female bloggers. And thanks for including Profy in the list as well, I appreciate it.

Hey Orly,

It's good to know who's who in the female blogosphere, so thanks for compiling the list.

Don't feel the need to apologize.. you're one of the leading female bloggers, walk proud!

You're kidding yes?

It's fine to put your blog there, but not if you want to be taken seriously.

You have women who just started blogging two months ago. And you don't even say why they matter to you? It seems like you just linked to a lot of the women who do have good blogs so they would see you and possibly link back or talk about you somewhere with the link.

I think this is link bait. Most lists like this are, but at least they put in the time to write about why each person is on the list.

And the music on the video with each woman's blog, where the link to those blog rests over the pause button? Really unprofessional.

Wow Allie, wrong assumptions all the way.

As I was saying, this list based on RWW post so most of the information is already written. Additionally, I've added some good bloggers that I thought should be listed. Some of them well known in the blogging area, and the others newer.

I know lots of the girls from this list in person. I'm sure hoping that for at least they will know they don't need to link to me back.

Best.

Orli,
If the point of the post is simply to list your favorites, then that's terrific. Then I won't take it as link bait, or a list of women who are powerful (new bloggers with no activity aren't really powerful bloggers and undermine your list as does putting yourself on it).

A number of the links don't actually go to blogs, but to other websites the women are associated with. Makes me think you don't really read their blogs but are just listing women you like.

The video embed is really annoying. You have chosen a service that put the pause button under the link to the website you are pointing out. So I can't stop the sappy music without clicking a link to another website.

Allie

Allie, click on the full screen and stop the music if it annoys you. Clearly I've chosen this song for a reason.
