The web is a huge source and knowledge-base for everything you need. This is why I'm enjoying working on our directory so much - finding new (or old) services to help other on their daily routine is what I like to do best.
Since it is already Sep, I thought it would be helpful to create an interactive slideshow of free web tools that teachers and students can enjoy from. Most of the services (and many more) can be found at our directory under the e-learning tag (you can also combine it with other tags for better results)

Thank for this amazing list. I would also add OPPapers.com. I have used this site multiple times for help with paper topics and formatting papers.
