I want to thank you and your newphews for checking out Zoodles. I thought I could give you some insights into some of the design decisions we made as well as some of the issues you noticed about the product.<br /><br />First, we have done a lot of usability testing with children of all ages. One of the things we found is that a &quot;back&quot; button doesn&#39;t work well for younger children since many of the activities that children interact with are all flash based, so the &quot;context&quot; of &quot;back&quot; is lost and doesn&#39;t work consistently. Now having said that, some children might benefit from a back button and it sounds like your nephews might be some of them.<br /><br />Thanks for the feedback about the experience after clicking on a video... this is something we have seen during testing and will try and address soon. <br /><br />With respect to ads, I wanted to note that we are not serving these ads, rather they are from the sites that children are going to through our browser. We are not big fans of these ads either!<br /><br />I am glad you liked the parent dashboard! If you have a minute you might want to check out some of the parental control features.
